About International Love Data Week

Love Data Week (LDW) is an international celebration of data, taking place every year during the week of Valentine's Day. Established in 2016 as "Love Your Data Week," it quickly grew into an international event where a wide range of organisations celebrate data.

In 2025, the theme of Love Data Week is “Whose data is it anyway?”— a theme that resonates deeply as we focus on business ownership of one of our most important assets: Data!

During this week, we are excited to bring everyone together to celebrate and promote the value of data, information, and artificial intelligence.

Why Love Data Week?

We recognise the pivotal role data plays in our success, driving decision-making, innovation, and growth. International Love Data Week provides us with a platform to explore, share, and learn how we leverage data for excellence in shaping both our present and our future.

We first participated in International Love Data Week in 2023 and it grew in popularity in 2024. Building on the success of International Love Data Week in February 2024, where over 1,600 people engaged in various Data & AI events, we are kicking off our planning for International Love Data Week in February 2025.

This time, we want to go global and get everyone across the Co-op involved and we have an LDW planning committee organising an array of exciting events for our Co-op to attend, learn, and participate in.
